Jean-Jacques Rajter, MD – Pulmonologist & Sleep Medicine Expert
Dr. Rajter was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium, and immigrated to the United States with his family. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University, completed medical school at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and residency in Internal Medicine at MCP Hahnemann University. He completed his Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine fellowships at Drexel University College of Medicine, serving as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Rajter has extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient care, training Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents. He practices in South Florida and holds privileges at Broward Health Medical Center, Holy Cross Hospital, Kindred Hospital of Fort Lauderdale, and HealthSouth Sunrise Rehabilitation Hospital. He speaks English, French, and Flemish.
Dr. Rajter provides comprehensive pulmonary care, sleep evaluations, and critical care management for adults. He was a speaker for GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, and Forest Laboratories, and served on Advisory Boards for Pfizer. Leadership roles included Chief Medical Information Officer at Broward Health, and committee memberships in Critical Care and Utilization Review. He is also a reviewer for Critical Care Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rajter enjoys family time, travel (especially cruises), and is active in the Jewish community in downtown Fort Lauderdale, where he is a founding member of the Jewish Children’s Educational Center.
Juliana Cepelowicz Rajter, MD – Pulmonologist & Sleep Medicine Specialist
Dr. Cepelowicz was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Inspired by her grandfather, Professor Rubem Tabacof, a renowned cardiologist, she studied medicine at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at MCP Hahnemann University and Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine fellowships at Drexel University College of Medicine.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine, scoring in the 99th percentile nationally. Dr. Cepelowicz holds privileges at Broward Health Medical Center and Encompass Health and Rehabilitation Hospital of Sunrise. She speaks English and Portuguese.
Dr. Cepelowicz has co-authored peer-reviewed publications with Dr. Sanjeev Kothare (Harvard Medical School) and Dr. Allan Tunkel (Brown University). She is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Physicians, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Broward County Medical Association, and Florida Medical Association.
She is a dedicated mother of two, actively involved in her children’s education as a PTA member and volunteer on the Student Advisory Council.
Elizabeth Elliott PA-C
Elizabeth Elliott PA-C was born in Panama City, Florida. She attended the University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences. Following, she became a middle school science teacher and a championship volleyball coach at PK Yonge Developmental Research School. She then went on to pursue higher education at Nova Southeastern University where she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
She completed 10 years of practice in Cardiology and Infectious Disease before transitioning to Pulmonary/ Critical Care in 2020. During this time, Elizabeth was at the front line of the COVID pandemic in the ICU setting. She went on to teach at Nova Southeastern University for 4 years. She returned to clinical practice and joined Pulmonary and Sleep Consultants of Florida in 2024.
Outside of medicine, Elizabeth enjoys spending her time outdoors with her friends and family.
