Life Alterting Treatment
I went today for a follow-up visit. I started seeing Dr. Rajter several years ago for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I was prescribed treatment with a CPAP machine. This treatment was successful and after a short adjustment period, it became easier to use. In May of 2025, Dr. Rajter prescribed Tirzepatide. Today, November 3rd, 2025, I've lost in excess of 40 lbs and feel terrific. My A1C level is normal, for the first time in over 20 years. I highly recommend Dr Rajter for his knowledge, and very caring treatment. He takes the time to explain his treatment, and I've never felt rushed. I'm very grateful for being one of his patients.

Dr. Ratjer literally saved my life from falling apart. Before seeing Dr. Ratjer, I was sleeping barely 4 hours night with undiagnosed sleep apnea. I was desperate and at the point that I could not manage my life. Because I do not fit the common health profile of some with apnea, Dr. Ratjer had to make a case repeatedly to my insurance why I needed a repeat of a previous home sleep study. We were between Christmas and New Year's. After explaining my situation, I was promptly seen in his office. I have a Navigational Bronchoscopy scheduled for the New Year, so he can diagnose my spot.

My mother arrived at Broward Hospital a little over two weeks ago. We had a medical transport airplane bring her from Jamaica to this facility. She was unconscious and fighting for her life. When being evaluated by Dr. Rajter for an unrelated problem, he recommended I proceed with a screening CT of the chest for lung cancer. I only quit smoking recently. CT revealed a small spot in my lung. He promptly set me up for Navigational Bronchoscopy and he was able to avoid an invasive procedure for diagnosis. Lesion was indeed cancer and I proceeded with surgical resection. Prognosis is great based on the oncologist as my cancer was picked up early and was limited to stage 1. Thank you for saving my life.

We were between Christmas and New Year's. After explaining my situation, I was promptly seen in his office. For the last several months I was unable to obtain proper care for my pulmonary condition in Trinidad. I was refered by a friend to see Dr. Rajter in Fort Lauderdale. He reassessed my problems and started a treatment plan. I have been under his care for about 5 months now and I feel much better. I have seen him twice and plan to continue to travel to the US to obtain his care.
I was recently diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension and my cardiologist referred me to Dr. Rajter. He reviewed my case diligently and recommended some further testing. Since then, I was started on several new medications for pulmonary hypertension and my breathing has improved. I was very concerned about my out of pocket expense for these very expensive medications, but his wonderful staff enrolled me in some special programs to assist me with copayments. We have had our third office visit with Dr.Rajter following hospitalization for a lung biopsy. Dr. Rajter has been approachable and informative all through out our quest to determine a lung cancer diagnosis. We have really appreciated the calm and consistent manner in which he approached our family. He made sure that we knew what was happening,offered insight into new techniques,recommended our oncologist,and provided detailed information and recapped all so we left the office each time with what we needed to tackle the next step.We very much appreciate his willingness to spend time with us during a scary period and his reassuring personality and sense of humor.We feel like we are in very knowledgeable hands and that we are being treated as a family unit and that we matter to Dr. Rajter.We also very much appreciate his lovely staff and particularly Melissa who went above and beyond to schedule a next day PET scan knowing how anxious we were. She stayed on the phone with 3 centers to make it happen!We really feel in very caring and competent hands with this office!
I was referred to Dr. Rajter for asthma. I was experiencing ongoing problems with asthma for many years. After seeing several other physicians, Dr. Rajter identified my "triggers" and adjusted my treatment regimen. I breath much better once more. He has great bedside manners and a friendly staff. This doctor saved my husband's life. He took great care to make sure he had the proper tests to diagnose his condition and even called Tallahassee and spoke to the head of the department regarding tests and results. He takes great care in explaining the condition and the outcome and really helps by explaining things to the family and what to expect from the medication and length of time is getting well. He is very prompt in returning phone calls and that is something that I find amiss in most doctors. I highly recommend him to anyone with a problem with lungs. Just Breathe!!!

I decided to see Dr. Rajter after reading his reviews. His staff scheduled my appointment as new patient within 48 hours of calling. His office is easy to get to. Parking was a breeze. Registration was facilitated by his staff. I was surprised about the amount of time he spent reviewing all my records meticulously. This was followed by a detailed review of my symptoms and a thorough exam. He provided me with a list of possible diagnosis and his staff scheduled all necessary testing. At follow up, he was able to provide me with a diagnosis and a plan as how to best treat my condition. I now feel much better thanks to the excellent care he and his staff provided. I had been ill for weeks until I was referred to Dr. Rajter by a friend. She swears by Dr. Rajter. He spend time reviewing my history and prior treatments. He recommended some further testing and adjusted my treatment. I have not felt this well in ages. If you have pulmonary problems, look no further and call Dr. Rajter.
Dr. Rajter has provided me with much relief in my daily symptoms. He recently moved to a new location with a much improved office and friendly staff. He is always available for prompt follow up if you need it. His staff provided me with a next day appointment when I was not feeling well and squeezed me between other patients in an already busy schedule. Thank you for being there for me.

This man is caring for my 87yr. old mother. He is the only physician that I have seen to take time to explain her condition and options (to both of us), to take an interest in her care and condition, to help her get the additional care she needs. I have suffered from asthma since childhood, always depending on inhalers and having occasional crisis puting me in the hospital...Afortunately, I got referred to Dr Rajter after the last one, and he discovered that I was in the wrong medication (for COPD, not asthma) and gave me the right treatment. I have been breathing on my own, no inhalers for the first time in 30 years...Never imagined that was possible for me...Great doctor!

Do yourself a favor and see Dr. Rajter. I experienced recurrent asthma symptoms and had several Emergency Room visits until I was admitted to the hospital this last time in dire distress. Dr. Rajter took excellent care of me while hospitalized and I have followed up with him on a routine basis. No further Emergency Room visits, admissions to the hospital or major flare ups. I finally have my life back. Don't hesitate and call him for an appointment. The only regret you will experience is that it took you so long the find an excellent and caring pulmonologist.
I unfortunately have seen many physicians over my lifetime, but Dr. Rajter is by far the best doctor I ever had. He is always willing to help me in any way he can. He appealed my denial of coverage with my insurance company and got me the medications I needed. If you leave a message, he will actually call you back the same day. Since seeing him, I can play with my grand kids, go shopping at the mall and all if that with limited go no shortness of breath. It's always easy to schedule an emergency appointment. Dr Rajter has treated me for approximately two years and during that time I found him to be very thoughtful, tenacious and creative in his approach to curing my illnesses. He is never in a rush to finish the appointment before all of my questions and concerns have been answered fully. He answered all my questions and concerns and helped me to understand the implications of my condition. He is a very special person. Most people who know him would agree. Dr. Rajter appears to be not only competent but exercised the best listening skills I have ever experienced when speaking with a doctor. He completely reviewed my medical history correcting several misunderstandings that had been previously noted by others. He took my concerns seriously without minimizing my issues and explained test results in detail using terminology I could understand. He was open to questions and gave completely adequate answers, documenting his answers in written form so that I did not need to take notes. I have never felt as comfortable speaking with a doctor as I did with this wonderful man, and unfortunately I have had to consult with many doctors over the 67 years of my life.
He may come off as a bit odd or abrupt, but this man saved my life. He is one of the few medical professionals I have come across that actually genuinely cares for his patient's welfare.
